Thats it. I gave myself a week to spend 24 hours of only guitar. 1 day over 1 week trying to learn the hardest song that i wanted to learn. its intro had some techniques i’ve never used before and the whole rest of the song used fingerpicking which i’ve never gotten close to doing. But i did it. almost. i ended up only doing 18 hours but it was still a long time. Almost also because in theory i could sing and play the whole thing but not without mistakes. And so the way the cover was done was born. It was the only way i could think of showing what i did the whole week without it being really choppy. The timings off because i didn't have my guitar stitched together; i had the song playing in my ear on Tristan's phone so i could sing along with Jeff Buckley. When i did eventually stitch it together i had to slow down and speed up the guitar parts for it to match. Didn't really turn out how i would have wanted it to turn out to post a cover of me doing this song on the internet,,, but,,, the best excuse is to just do it.
