I had an idea when i was a kid that was going to separate me from the mortals of this world. A way to store infinite. data.
Trying to use the words i would probably have used back then:
Take 2 radio towers. Send data from Tower A to Tower B. Have Tower B send data back. Have Tower A send it back. Repeat for as long as you want with as much data as you want.
My dad could never convince me why it wouldn't work. No analogy about data bandwidth and pipes would prove me wrong in my head. This system also actually works under my series of assumptions that; data can be reflected similar to light without the need for a system to intake and output that data back and that data is not fragile while being sent wirelessly. Also lots of other reasons that I didn't know i didn't know.
Anyway 10 years later I come across what would become one of my favorite videos. From one of my favorite video-ers, called harder drive.
Probably the closest that one of my childhood techy ideas would ever come to touching reality. Even if it wasn't loosely related it would still be such an awesome video. Also his chess algorithm video is awesome and ill probablyyy do my own version of PacTom one day.
